Most home audio solutions are an integrated processor / amplifier. These also come in many styles; 2 channel stereo, 5.1 surround, 7.1 surround, 9.2 surround and with the option of a second, third or fourth zone. While small differences in power don't actually have that much of an in-room effect (it takes 10 times the power to make it twice as loud), differences in feature specification can make a very large difference on performance. |
